Competitive Social Ventures (CSV), a hospitality company that creates socially driven entertainment concepts, held a grand opening for Pickle and Social Gwinnett on Dec. 7.

Pickle and Social Gwinnett is an ‘eat’ertainment concept that offers six indoor, eight outdoor and two semi-covered pickleball courts, as well as a full-service restaurant, bar and lounge.

Patrons can dine on American classics, signature drinks and local craft beers in various places. The complex has a rooftop bar, a pet-friendly outdoor Biergarten, a 27-foot music stage, an ACL cornhole yard and concert viewing space across its 4.5-acre venue.

Pickle and Social opens its doors

Pickle and Social welcomed the greater Atlanta community to its grand opening on Thursday, Dec. 7. Guests explored the venue and played complimentary games on-site, including cornhole, shuffleboard, ping pong and more.

There were also surprise giveaways and appearances from pro-pickleball players and other high-profile athletes.

Pickle and Social Gwinnett is located at 2925 Buford Drive, Suite 2100, Buford, GA 30519, within The Exchange at Gwinnett.

“Opening our first Pickle and Social is a huge milestone for CSV and we can’t wait to introduce our style of entertainment to the fastest-growing sport in the nation,” said Neal Freeman, Managing Partner and CEO at CSV.

How to get in on the pickleball action

The location offers open play, lessons, clinics, camps, leagues and tournaments.

A limited number of memberships are available for those who wish to take advantage of all Pickle and Social offers.

Memberships offer early access to court reservations, unlimited open play Sunday through Friday, early registration to all Pickle and Social events, free rental equipment and major discounts.

Pickleball operations are led by Chris Wolfe, a PPA-certified teaching professional, USA pickleball ambassador, and co-owner of the Atlanta Pickleball Association (ATLPBA).

Pickle and Social also partners with pro pickleball athletes and other well-known pickleball community members, including Zane Navratil, Anna Bright, James Ignatowich, Dave Weinbach, Altaf Merchant, Riley Bohnert and Danny Wuerffel.

As Pickle and Social Ambassadors, these individuals play an important role in introducing the game to new communities and further advancing the sport.

More locations to come

Pickle and Social Gwinnett is the first of seven planned Pickle and Social locations across the country.

Locations in Scottsdale, Arizona, will open in 2024, with Frisco, Texas, and Alpharetta, Georgia, locations coming in 2025. More locations will be announced in the future.
